Forgotten Coast Adventures - Charter Fishing

May 1st Fishing report

Posted by: Capt Mark on 05/05/2017

As we get ready to head into May, fishing is great. We are almost getting to many reports to cover them all. We are going to hit the high points this week and we really appreciate everyone who gives us fishing updates in the store and by phone every week. Lets start at the Sea Wall at St Joe Marina. There has been several nice Trout and several Flounder taken along the sea wall and we understand live bait and artificial is working evenly well to get the job done. Trout continues to bite well up in the head of St. Joe Bay, we like Salt water Assassin to get the job done. New penny, pearl and cantaloupe all are working well right now. Pompano bite is still strong along all the beaches and fresh shrimp, fishbites  in flea flavor and pink shrimp are winners. Again, thanks for all the updates and until next week, Happy Fishing !
