St Joe Bay Large speckled trout, slot size redfish, flounder, and Spanish mackerel are in the bay. The spring bite is in full swing. Lures and live bait work equally well. Fish shallows for the trout and reds, and the pockets of deeper water for the flounder. May fishing report

A little cool front has dropped the air and water temps just a bit but has not cooled the bite at all.  Early Morning topwater for reds on the grass flats and as the sun gets up move to 31/2 to 5 feet of water with live shrimp for the trout bite. It has been a little windy so nothing to report on cobia this week.  Flounder on soft plastics along the channel edge around midday.  Read More
