Hey everyone I have not put up anything new in a while Im sorry to say. But This has been a real busy summer. And for the bottom line that has been real good.
The last few morning here on the coast have been a little cooler thnak you very much. And the fishing as responded very well. I have been averaging 15 trout and 6 reds over the last seven days and and this morning was just off the charts. The bay is sarting to clear up from some recent rains and the fish are responding. This morning we caught 23 trout with six over 23 inches and 14 reds. We also added in 2 blacktips with one being a 6 ft. not bad for 4 hrs huh.
The fishing is only going to get better as we move toward the fall. If you thinking about coming this way and looking for a guide I suggest you start thinking about making some reservations.

Today Angela and Dan from Carrolltown Ga. fished with me today. And what a beautiful morning. Like I mentioned earlier the bite was slow but the quaility of the fish proved to be outstanding. Most of our trout came on topwater.
On a side not for you Tarpon anglers the bite is getting better everyday. I got reports of 5 fish landed this morning along Windmark Beach. So if your interesting in a Silver King book you a trip as soon as possible dates are filling up fast.

Well Summer is Finally here. May warmed things up with the first Tournament of the Season. With over 100 anglers entered there was a lot of anxiety on the final day of the event. As of late Friday afternoon I was leading in the Trout Division with a 6.79lb fish that held up till the next day. But I was eventually edged out by 7.4lb trout during the final weigh in. Still good for a $500 purse. Next is the upcoming Bluewater Charity Classic benefitting the Wounded Warrior Program. With over $20000 in prizes this is fast becomong a must fish event.
Now to whats going on along the coast fishing wise. Trout fishing is some of the best I have ever seen here. Everyday guide boats are bring their clients back to the dock with a strong limit of fish. Most days the have at one fish that could be classied as a “GATOR”. Redfish are also plentiful with nice catches along the flats sight fishing.
If you have never visited out area I would strongly suggest you plan a trip as soon as possible. All the local Guides are getting booked for the season so dont miss your chance.
There are report of some Tarpon in the area, we are still a few weeks out from the traditional start of our season.
